Malaysia’s Road Transport Department (JPJ) is stepping up enforcement following concerns over road safety and accidents linked to large-scale motorcycle gatherings in Terengganu.
The authorities are also engaging with members of the motorcycle community following the recent incident.
📌 What’s happening?
JPJ says enforcement will be strengthened to help prevent unsafe riding and reduce the risk of accidents during large motorcycle gatherings.
Large gatherings can bring thousands of riders onto the roads at the same time — making traffic management, road discipline and rider safety especially important.
🏍️ For riders:
✅ Follow traffic rules
✅ Wear proper safety gear
✅ Avoid dangerous riding
✅ Keep a safe distance
✅ Don’t let the excitement of a gathering override road safety
A motorcycle gathering can be a great way for riders to meet and share their passion.
But at the end of the day…
Everyone still wants to get home safely. ❤️
🇲🇾 Ride safe. Ride responsibly.
What do you think authorities should do to make large motorcycle gatherings safer?
